Who we are

Southland Properties is a private investment company and design-driven developer of affordable luxury housing and mixed-use projects in Portugal. Our management team come from International architectural backgrounds with core expertise in project planning and design management of high-end developments ranging from villas to housing complexes to community master plans. Our team is registered with the Portuguese Board of Architects, Royal Institute of British Architects, and the Landscape Institute (UK).

Our mission is to create and reinvigorate properties which reflect our lifestyle values of stunning locations, indoor and outdoor connections, and proximity to points of interest. We develop modern properties with a refined aesthetic which are ready to occupy. We pursue development based on the qualities the project and site present, which pushes us to search for the best value and solutions in our design and process.

What we do

Southland Properties develops and renovates mid-upmarket properties for discerning clientele seeking a higher standard of design and construction. Our approach is based on in-house design followed by intensive supervision throughout project implementation to ensure maximum value and workmanship are delivered. Our designs prioritize efficiency, long-life materials, and robust detailing responsive to the climate and context. The result of our process is a product which is highly quality controlled, designed to International standards, more economical to maintain and operate over time, and accessibly priced for the portuguese market. We sell finished built properties, but can be commissioned to develop “turn-key” housing, designed and built to meet your specifications.
